my new sweatshirt is ruined

Sunday, January 4th, 2009

earlier this evening my beautiful new sweatshirt was stained by random spills of bleach lurking about in the house.

since this happened before the kids went to sleep, i constrained my anger and just wondered how and why.

i tried very hard not to become bitter.

my new conduct allows me to release my anger after 9pm, but when the time came, i didn’t feel angry - just very pissed.

michal miller

that’s me in my new tamar kirshberg sweatshirt.

note the big pot of cholent (with no cholent inside since i was in the process of serving it). this was the first time i made cholent and it came out pretty good. but i don’t think i will prepare it again any time soon, because it’s just too much hassle.

Berlin-based Mashallah Design & Linda Kostowski have created items of clothing by scanning human bodies and using the data to create sewing patterns.

The human form is turned into 3D patterns of polygons, which are then turned into 2D files and used to laser cut fabric.

The project was on show at Create Berlin during the London Design Festival earlier this month.
