happy #2009 post inspired by @mashable
January 1st, 2009this year i’ve started acting upon my new year resolutions in advance.
they’re not really new year resolutions, they’re just regular resolutions which I made close to the new year.
for the past week all i did was repress my anger, fake smiles, tidy the house and cook.
i’ve had zero time for blogging, tweeting, bleeping, social networking, talking to friends or watching television. (but i did have a great night out to 223).
the new behavioral regime made james, noah and uri very happy and seeing them happy made me happy too, thus i didn’t have to fake smiles anymore (starting to get it?)
i’m embarking on a new way!
here are simple directions for anyone who wants to join me:
repression and denial all day long until 21:00, after which relieff in ways of screaming, crying or banging the head against the wall.

I took two pictures of each person - one with opened eyes,
the other with closed eyes. I then integrated the two pictures into
one portrait, resulting in the calm but unnatural expressions
seen here.

recently i’ve been displaying andy miller’s monsters on my desktop:

here’s a piece he submitted to amelia’s magazine (which for some unexplained reason was not chosen):
