The dog photo booth by Sharon Montrose

Thursday, November 27th, 2008

I had a really difficult time trying to choose which photos I should post. Then I did the fatal mistake of visiting her website. Sharon Montrose has the most amazing dog photos I have ever seen.

She also has a baby section and a family section. But I have to admit these were a little too much for me. (Except for the little blond curly kid feeding the ducks at the pond. He reminded me of my little Noah)

Cat with extra set of ears

Friday, November 14th, 2008

Look how pretty he is! His name is Yoda, because of his pointy ears, but I don’t think he looks anything like Yoda.

Valerie, his owner, says his hearing is normal. In fact, She says he’s completely normal in every way, except for the strange obsession he has with bread.

Turtle with algae mohawk

Friday, September 26th, 2008

Whats up with these animals? First the polar bear and now this turtle?

This unusual turtle grows a bright green algae mohawk on his head. With one green eye and the other one blue, this has to be the coolest turtle I’ve ever seen (also no other turtle comes to mind).

His nostrils make me think of Fuchur.

Schoolgirl breaks world record for balancing snails on her face

Sunday, August 31st, 2008

Nine years old Tiana Walton of England has set a new world record by having 25 slimy snails slither over her eyes, nose and mouth.

that’s just disgusting!

I wonder if her parents made her practice every day until she got it right, preventing her from seing her friends or playing inside, in this case, until all 25 snails are balanced on her face properly.

tree climbing goats

Thursday, August 21st, 2008

These goats climb the Argan trees in Morocco in search of food.

The locals collect the goats droppings, which contain the kernels of the seeds they consumed.

They press and grind it into oil.

I’ve heard of this oil, but I never knew it originated in goat droppings.

Now that I know, I am sure to use it, just like I am sure to drink Kopi Luwak, made from coffee berries which have been eaten by and passed through the digestive tract of the Asian palm Civet.
