Berlin-based Mashallah Design & Linda Kostowski have created items of clothing by scanning human bodies and using the data to create sewing patterns.
The human form is turned into 3D patterns of polygons, which are then turned into 2D files and used to laser cut fabric.
The project was on show at Create Berlin during the London Design Festival earlier this month.

On with my random googeling.
The Secret Life of Machines is a TV series made for British Channel 4. The series was written and presented by Tim Hunkin. The 18 episodes were developed from a cartoon strip called The Rudiments of Wisdom which Tim Researched and drew for the Observer newspaper for 14 years.
The complete Series is available online on various websites, but I still haven’t seen it, although I already know I will like it. Especially the episode about the washing machine.
Here is the theme song: Val Bennett’s The Russians are coming, a ska version of Brubeck’s Take 5.
I had a really difficult time trying to choose which photos I should post. Then I did the fatal mistake of visiting her website. Sharon Montrose has the most amazing dog photos I have ever seen.
She also has a baby section and a family section. But I have to admit these were a little too much for me. (Except for the little blond curly kid feeding the ducks at the pond. He reminded me of my little Noah)

I was going to write about the new book I got: Ojingogo by Matthew Forsythe, so I googled it and found the cutest Japanese commertcial on Matthew Forsythe’s blog:
Ojingogo looks so nice. I will write something as soon as I get a chance to read it.

I’m wondering if as a mother of two young children I should have bought Toms vegan boots instead of the carnivorous pair I bought last week.

I think I like these boots, but I don’t understand the point of wrapping them yourself. Couldn’t they make them readily wrapped so I don’t have to work so hard each time I leave the house? I have enough things to do as it is.

I could write about so many things…
I could write about the black Rosa Mosa boots (Andrea) I bought this week
I could write about the order I made from The Tilted Tulip
I could write about my visit to my acupuncturist, but I’ve already written about that (nothing’s really changed there except the order of the posters on the wall and that’s because not many people like staring at male genitalia during treatment)
I could write about the smart things Noah says (but is it really smart to tell your mother she’s as chubby as a bear?)
I will also not write about the tragic toys set I got from Aya nor about Owly the book I got from Noni which were both bought at the same store
I could write about so many things but I don’t
because I have a HUGE HEADACHE!
